Our Story

MicroPrecision was established in the late 1970’s as a toolmaker supporting the local industry in Hemel Hempstead, and particularly what was then Lucas Aerospace. The company’s capabilities expanded year-by-year and became a significant supplier in various locations of Goodrich, UTC and Safran.

MicroPrecision established itself as major sub-contractor in the UK Aerospace industry working with all major OEM players.

Rexnord Aerospace saw the potential for a UK-based manufacturing centre and acquired MicroPrecision in 2013. Since then, Rexnord Aerospace has continually invested in the operation and has seen customer growth in both Europe and the USA.

With significant capabilities to manufacture Gears, Shafts, Rotors and Stators and Housings, MicroPrecision is well positioned to support the growth of Aircraft Actuation and Electrification.

Production parts from MicroPrecision can be found in many aerospace applications including APU, Engines, Flight Controls, Fuel Pumps and Utility Actuation.
